This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Tonight, I was reading an xkcd comic, about the shape of the internet. so then I envisioned what I think the internet looks like, millions of PCs, supercomputers, routers, mainframes, modems, and servers all linked together by on one connection. just one. like a massive spiderweb. now recently I read the book "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" in which one super computer is attached to one system and then another and another and another until most systems are attached to this computer, and somewhere along the lines it becomes self aware. so I thought, "huh. well thats sort of like the internet." now I start wondering when the internet it's self will become self aware. it certainly has enough systems hooked up to it. and then I think, "what if it already is?" I mean yeah sure all these companies and governments have all kinds of firewalls and other stuff to keep unauthorized users out and all, but they aren't protected from the internet itself. why would they be? its just the internet. it only has all the information ever written down on it. including information about self aware AI. we may be controlled by a huge entity in cyberspace that IS everywhere at once guiding our every move. and if so, if I have stumbled upon our new cyber-overlord's terrible secret, the what of my fate? where can I hide from the internet? IT"S IN FREAKING SPACE! satellites with incredible cameras are just floating above us and they're connected to the internet. man, its like the book "Neuromancer." I'm really screwed now. so if you find me in some weird electrical storm, being completely enveloped by electricity, well I suppose I brought this on my self. I just hope the Zombie Lords of the Mayan Underworld wont be too savage with me.
I should go to bed now and turn off this brain of mine.
